present at the start of the event, attend the entire chapter event and be presented with theplaque during the function.

•Visiting Chapters MUST determine mileage from their gathering place to the host chapter gathering place using Mapquest at www.mapquest.com .

is final.
• As soon as the Traveling Plaque has been captured, the gaining Chapter
Director or their designee must contact Bill
and Sandy Nourse, District MEC. Tell them where the plaque is, meeting details, and name and phone number of whom to contact for further
information. Bill & Sandy will then post the location of the Plaque on the District Web Site or they can be contacted at MEC@ohiogwrra.orgor (419) 353-2522 for the location of the Plaque.
• Once a Chapter has captured the plaque, at least two other Chapters mustcapture the plaque before they can once again claim possession.
• It will be the responsibility of the Chapter Director to ensure
that the Traveling Plaque is at every Chapter function while in their possession, not just Chapter meetings.
• The Chapter Director
will obtain and engrave the next plate in sequence showing the capturing Chapter, miles traveled, Chapter received from, and the date
of capture. Plate must be the same size and style.
• There will be a drawing at the end of the year for a prize. Each time a
Chapter has captured the District Traveling Plaque, the Chapter’s name will be entered into the drawing.
Note: The intent of this plaque is to encourage Chapter visitations and travel among the District. Have fun on your travels!
